What I Support

Abortion

I am pro-choice. The choice is between a woman and her doctor. I believe more sex education is needed. Around 1 million abortions are done every year. I want to see a reduction of abortions.

Civil Rights

I am for the rights of all people. I am for gay marriage, LGBT rights, women’s rights, affirmative action, and people’s rights. Everyone is equal, no one is better than anyone else. Everyone deserves fair and equal treatment despite race, religion, or sex.

Criminal Justice

I am against mass incarceration. It is better to educate, train, and provide jobs to non-violent drug offenders.

I want to abolish private prisons. Rehabilitating nonviolent drug offenders through education and job training is a better option.

I am for police reform. Require police to wear and use body cameras for every confrontation for transparency and accountability.

I am for demilitarizing the police. The police doesn’t need military grade weaponry to protect the public.

I am against death penalty. Killing anyone doesn’t solve anything, it doesn’t teach anything, it only promotes violence.

Drugs

I am against the war on drugs. This war is a huge failure. We have wasted billions of dollars every year only to make it worse. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency has an efficiency rate of less than 1% when it comes to stopping the flow of drugs into the U.S. and inside the U.S. Instead I want to use Switzerland’s harm reduction method which has already proven results for decrease in drug related crime and  increase people getting treatment thus an increase in workforce.

I am for legalizing marijuana. Marijuana has already shown many health benefits and should be researched more to find the full extent of its medical properties.

Economy

I want to raise the minimum wage to be a standard living wage.

I want to audit the Federal Reserve. It has unchecked power and has to be audited for transparency and be held accountable for what it is doing.

I want to get rid of corporation loopholes that allow them to perform tax evasion and tax inversion.

I want to get rid of their tax havens and corporate subsidies.

I want to provide the subsidies to small business to foster their growth.

I want to raise taxes on the rich and big corporations and lower taxes on the poor.

I want to reduce the Defense budget and increase the Infrastructure budget.

I want to reinstate Glass-Steagall, break up big banks, and tax Wall Street.

Education

I am for and against Common Core. Common Core's idea to improve critical thinking is good, but the weight that each test holds is too great and puts too much stress on our children to do great. We need to focus on our children's strengths while building on their weaknesses.

I am believe is education is a right for all and should be free. Without the proper education, we will not have the proper workforce needed for the future.

Environment

I believe climate change is real. A vast majority of scientists have provide data to prove that it exists and something has to be done now.

I am against oil and the Keystone pipeline. I am for alternative energy. We should start subsidizing the energy sector that doesn’t rely on fossil fuels and carbon emissions and  increase the carbon tax.

Foreign Policy

I am for exploring all diplomatic options before starting conflicts.

I am against torture. All people need to be treated fairly with due process. Torture is a crime against humanity and involves inhumane practices.

Allies are people who will help us when we ask for help. Allies are not people who ask for our help and then do nothing while we do a majority of the work.

I am anti-war. I support a world where peace exists between all people, where we help each other for the betterment of future mankind.

Free Trade

I am against the TPP. The TPP was written by the corporations in secret and given to our politicians to fast track. This document which was leaked to the public has shown that it does not help small businesses and only favors the corporations that it was written by.

Government Reform

I am against Citizens United. Buying politicians should not be a form of speech. Your voice and your vote are free speech not money.

I am against gerrymandering. Districts should be divided up by commission of people not associated by the government.

Gun control

Everyone has the right by the second amendment to bear arms.

I want to institute these 3 laws, that was suggested by scientists, which should reduce gun related deaths: universal background checks for firearms, background checks for ammunition, and firearm identification.

Healthcare

I am for single payer healthcare system. Obamacare is the right step, but needs to be pushed even more for universal healthcare with increase medicare and medicaid. Healthcare is a right for everyone, the pursuit of life is for everyone.

Immigration

I want to establish an easier path to citizenship. Give rights to illegal immigrants and the due process they deserve. People want to come to America for a life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I want to have visa reform to provide an easier path to citizenship to give more reason for those who enter America on a visa to stay and increase our skill level in the workforce.

Internet

I am for net neutrality. All data should be treated equally and the internet needs to be open and free.

I am against the monopoly that the major internet service providers have created that limits nearly all American families to 1 or 2 possible choices.

Military and Veterans

War should always be the last option but we should always have a strong military to provide support when needed.

I will support all veterans and fix the VA so that our veterans get the support they need when they finish their service to our country.

National Security

I want to increase border security with no physical wall. We need to protect our borders while providing an easier path to citizenship.

Privacy / Cybersecurity

I am against the USA PATRIOT (Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism) act. Mass surveillance should stop. The CIA, FBI, and NSA need to follow due process, obtain warrants, act according to the Fourth Amendment

Religion

I believe in separation of church and state. Laws should be made independent of religious beliefs to provide equality to all.

I believe everyone should be able to express themselves freely without discrimination but that person should not cause a social disturbance.

Social Security

I am for expanding social security to help the elderly, survivors, and the disabled.

Tax Reform

I want to have a simple tax code with no loopholes for the corporations and the rich.

I want to use a progressive tax plan. That focuses on increasing tax rate on the rich and less on the poor.

Welfare

I support welfare programs to help those that are in need of assistance so that everyone has a chance for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Other Issues

I am against voter ID. Voter fraud is rare and is a barrier for many people to come let their voice be heard.

I am against superdelegates. Your vote should be the same as anyone no matter who you are. One person, One vote.
