Hi. My name is Minh Tran and I want to become the U.S. Senator for Washington State. I am joining our political revolution against the corrupt politicians and the big and powerful corporations. Bernie Sanders is correct about our political revolution. He cannot do it alone. He needs us to take a stand against the rich and corrupt, and fight for what we believe in. It should be everyone deciding what’s best for America, not corporate America.

I believe Citizens United is the root cause of everything wrong with America today. When the corporations can influence our politicians to vote how they want, we are the ones who suffer. Corporations don’t want to raise the minimum wage to a $15/hr standard living wage because it cuts into profits. Keystone pipeline is also being pushed by oil corporations to keep our dependence on fossil fuels vice spending the money to research and develop alternate energy. Large corporation subsidies are being signed into law by our politicians to help them become even bigger and wealthier. Wall Street was bailed out by the American people and those executives are receiving compensation packages without being jailed. The Trans-Pacific Partnership is a document made in secret by corporations that is being fast tracked through Congress to create more loopholes for them.

I truly believe that if we can get Citizens United reversed, so that corporations cannot buy our politicians, we can start to see true change in America. If politicians are held accountable and are transparent to the people that put them into office, they will vote accordingly to how the people feel, not how the corporations feel.
